The 2026–27 Chance Liga season opens with Slavia Prague established as clear title favorites after back-to-back championships, creating a wide-open contest for second place among a deep group of clubs. Early results show Slovan Liberec, Mladá Boleslav, Zbrojovka Brno, and Sigma Olomouc posting strong starts with solid defensive records and attacking output, while traditional contenders Sparta Prague and Viktoria Plzeň sit mid-table after mixed form and a high-profile derby defeat for Sparta. The league’s split into championship, middle, and relegation groups after 30 rounds adds further uncertainty, as points swings and head-to-head results in the top six can shift positioning rapidly. This parity in squad depth, recent momentum, and historical performance keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered around the runner-up outcome.
