Aryna Sabalenka enters as the market leader due to her two prior US Open titles, seven straight hard-court major finals, and proven power baseline game that thrives on Flushing Meadows hard courts, even after early exits in Toronto and Cincinnati. Coco Gauff sits second following her Cincinnati title and improved serving consistency, positioning her for a deep home run. Iga Swiatek holds third on the strength of her Toronto victory and recent hard-court form, while Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina factor in via strong hard-court resumes and ranking implications. The wide-open field reflects WTA parity, with rising talents like Mirra Andreeva adding depth through consistent recent results against varied competition.
