FURIA enters the Esports World Cup 2026 Round of 16 BO3 against Aurora Gaming on strong recent form after advancing from group stage with wins over 9z and Wildcard, building on a 2-0 victory over the Turkish side at IEM Cologne Major 2026. Aurora has shown consistency with 2-0 sweeps of JiJieHao and M80 but carries a loss to BIG and trails in head-to-head history against Brazilian opposition. Key variables include map pool control on standard pools like Inferno, Dust2, and Nuke, roster stability with Aurora's veteran core of MAJ3R, XANTARES, and woxic facing FURIA's established lineup, and the single-elimination playoff pressure that rewards execution under fatigue from the group stage. Recent LAN results and travel factors to Paris further shape the closely contested matchup dynamics.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
