If the relevant Pyth data is unavailable due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption that prevents verification of the required 1-minute candle data, the official daily high and low prices published by ICE Futures U.S. for the most actively traded (by open interest) ICE U.S. Dollar Index futures contract (ticker DX) as of the relevant business day may be used to determine whether the listed price was reached during the applicable trading session. Official daily high and low prices are the values shown in the "High" and "Low" columns of the ICE Futures U.S. "Futures Daily Market Report for US Dollar Index" for the relevant contract month on each relevant trading day. This report may be accessed by selecting "End of Day Report" under the "Reports" tab of the product page at https://www.ice.com/products/194/US-Dollar-Index-Futures.**US Dollar Index (DXY) traders are focused on the interplay between resilient US labor market data, sticky inflation readings, and shifting Federal Reserve policy expectations heading into the September 16 FOMC meeting.** As of early September 2026, the index trades near 99.16 after recent swings, supported by stronger-than-expected August nonfarm payrolls released September 4 that lifted the implied probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike at the upcoming meeting. Key near-term catalysts include the August PPI release on September 10 and CPI on September 11, which will shape views on inflation persistence and the likelihood of tighter policy under Chair Kevin Warsh. Market-implied odds currently reflect a closely contested path, with recent Fed communications showing some hawkish dissent amid signs of disinflation in other data. Broader dynamics include Treasury yield movements and relative growth differentials versus major trading partners, all of which continue to influence short-term DXY positioning around the 99 handle.
