Rising memory and storage costs driven by AI infrastructure demand have pushed analysts to forecast a $150–$200 price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro, with estimates centering on a $1,249–$1,299 starting price compared to the prior $1,099 model. Apple has already raised prices on Macs, iPads, and other devices amid component shortages, and recent reports from TrendForce, IDC, and supply-chain sources highlight bill-of-materials increases of up to 38 percent. The September 9 Apple event, expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and first foldable model, will confirm final pricing before preorders open shortly afterward. Traders are watching for any last-minute margin decisions or competitive responses from rivals facing similar cost pressures.
