Persistent cloud cover, southeasterly winds, and widespread rain across São Paulo are suppressing daytime heating on September 6, keeping maximum temperatures aligned with the 15°C market leader. Official forecasts from sources such as Climatempo and nearby station models indicate a high near 15–16°C under overcast skies and light-to-moderate precipitation, well below the month’s typical 22–25°C average. These cooler conditions stem from a recent influx of maritime air and limited solar insolation, with hourly observations showing readings clustered in the low-to-mid teens Celsius. Updated model consensus and ongoing monitoring of cloud trends support the strong trader preference for 15°C while leaving limited room for a brief 16°C spike if breaks in the overcast develop.
