Recent polling ahead of Berlin’s September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election shows a tight contest among Die Linke (19–22%), CDU (18–20%), AfD (17–19%), and Grüne (16–17%), with SPD trailing at 12–15%. Small shifts in turnout or preference flows among left-leaning voters could reorder the middle rankings, keeping fourth place contested. The Greens currently hold the highest implied probability for that slot as the most consistent fourth-place contender across surveys, while AfD and CDU gains or Linke consolidation could push them lower. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, with limited separation expected until final campaign events and district-level results clarify the order.
