Closely matched implied probabilities near 43–50% for tracks including Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” and “Petal,” Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai,” and several other contenders reflect a fluid race for the #2 Spotify global spot the week of August 14. Streaming momentum from mid-2026 releases such as Grande’s May single and album rollout continues to compete with catalog standouts like BTS’s “SWIM” and Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings,” while newer playlist-driven gains for Bruno Mars and Olivia Rodrigo add volatility. Weekly updates in streams and viral platform data remain the decisive swing factors, with no single song holding a decisive lead heading into the chart lock.
