This market will resolve to "Yes" if the named team defense/special teams (D/ST) unit finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season (Weeks 1 through 18) ranked among the top 5 D/ST units by total fantasy points under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Otherwise, that market will resolve to "No". Only regular-season games count; postseason (playoff) games are excluded. If two or more D/ST units are tied such that more than 5 would qualify for the top 5, the tie will be broken by higher fantasy points per game average for the 2026 NFL regular season, and if a tie still persists, by team name in alphabetical order, so that exactly 5 D/ST units are classified as top 5. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the rankings cannot be determined within this timeframe, all markets in this event will resolve to "No". The resolution source will be official season-total statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and Seattle Seahawks headline consensus rankings for 2026 fantasy D/ST scoring due to elite pass-rush depth, secondary coverage, and favorable early schedules that project strong sack, turnover, and points-allowed totals. The Los Angeles Rams jumped into the top tier after acquiring two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, immediately upgrading their edge pressure and creating matchup advantages against weaker offenses. Recent offseason roster continuity for the Texans and Seahawks, combined with Broncos defensive scheme familiarity, has anchored trader expectations around these four units occupying most top-five spots. Preseason injury reports, final depth-chart decisions, and Week 1 weather or travel factors could still shift implied probabilities before the regular season begins.
