This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player makes a field goal of more than 68 yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season, thereby breaking the NFL record for the longest field goal made. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL record for the longest field goal made is 68 yards, set by Cam Little in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL regular season. Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must make a field goal of 69 yards or longer for this market to resolve to "Yes". The field goal must be made; missed, blocked, and aborted attempts do not count. Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Preseason and postseason field goals do not count. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player made a field goal longer than 68 yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The current NFL record stands at 68 yards, set by Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little in November 2025, with his 67-yard make the following January also among the longest ever. Recent seasons have seen more attempts and conversions from 60-plus yards due to stronger, more athletic specialists, refined training regimens, data-driven technique, and the 2025 K-ball rule permitting pre-broken-in footballs that add distance. Still, kicks reaching or exceeding 68 yards remain exceptionally rare, hinging on ideal conditions such as favorable wind, dome stadiums, precise snap-hold execution, and game situations that rarely align for record attempts. With the 2026-27 campaign just underway, trader consensus at 57.5% for “No” reflects the historical scarcity of such outliers even amid the league’s kicking evolution.
