Official National Weather Service guidance places Dallas highs near 99°F on September 11 amid a persistent warm, moist southerly flow, with 40% thunderstorm chances after morning that could cap peak readings through evaporative cooling or cloud cover. Recent model runs show modest spread between 94–99°F, reflecting uncertainty in convective timing and intensity rather than large-scale pattern shifts. This aligns with above-normal September baselines near 93°F but tempered by the potential for localized storms, keeping market-implied odds clustered in the mid- to upper-90s buckets. Updated National Weather Service briefings and afternoon model guidance will clarify whether instability suppresses or allows the highest readings.
