This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Serie A for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Serie A campaign opens on August 22 with Inter Milan as defending champions under Cristian Chivu and clear title favorites, leaving the runner-up spot wide open among a deep group of contenders. Recent summer transfers, including high-profile additions at AC Milan (under Ruben Amorim) and Juventus, alongside squad reinforcements at Napoli and Roma, have leveled expectations across the top half of the table. With the transfer window remaining open until early September, roster adjustments continue to influence perceptions of depth and consistency over the 38-match schedule. Historical patterns of tight title races in recent seasons, combined with strong home/away records and European commitments for several clubs, reinforce the view that no single side holds a decisive edge for second place. This competitive balance—driven by similar projected points totals and form indicators—explains the narrow clustering around 44-51% implied probabilities, as traders price in the league’s typical parity and potential for momentum shifts.
