The 2026-27 Ligue 1 runner-up market reflects tight parity among a broad group of clubs behind Paris Saint-Germain, with Marseille holding a narrow edge in trader consensus at 48.5% implied probability. Multiple sides including Brest, Lens, Lyon, Nice, Strasbourg, and others sit within a few percentage points due to balanced preseason roster moves, similar recent form from the prior campaign, and no dominant challenger emerging after the summer transfer window. Home/away splits, head-to-head trends, and schedule difficulty further underscore the uncertainty, as mid-table clubs demonstrate comparable depth and motivation in a season where second place remains highly contested.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
