Axel Nefve and Sebastian Gorzny meet in the round of 32 at the ITF M25 East Lansing on outdoor hard courts, a lower-tier pro event where both Americans bring distinct profiles. Nefve, ranked near 994 and aged 26, enters with recent tournament form after a straight-sets win and prior college experience at Notre Dame. Gorzny, ranked around 876 and 22 years old, carries strong recent momentum from 2026 collegiate honors including ITA All-American and national senior player awards, though he suffered a recent loss on the ITF circuit. The matchup lacks extensive head-to-head history, with surface and draw position likely shaping outcomes alongside any late roster or fitness updates typical at this level.
