Nikita Samuel Filin and Marko Mesarovic, both American college players, meet in an ITF M25 East Lansing singles match on outdoor hard courts. Filin, a 20-year-old Ohio State standout with an ATP ranking near 1,439, has shown strong recent form in dual matches and junior events, while Mesarovic, ranked around 1,050-1,280 and competing for Clemson, brings slightly higher ITF experience and consistent results on the futures circuit. The matchup features two young right-handers with limited professional head-to-head history; recent U.S. hard-court swing results and current physical condition will likely shape outcomes more than long-term records. As a lower-tier ITF event, late changes to the draw or player availability remain possible factors.
