Seongwoo Cho and Ryota Tanuma meet in the ITF M25 Taipei 2 qualifying or early main draw on outdoor hard courts. Cho, currently ranked near 1135, enters with stronger recent momentum after straight-set qualifying victories over Hong-Lin Fu and Ethan Cook in the same event, while holding a modest edge in overall ITF points. Tanuma, ranked around 1295–1316 and a former top-520 player, has shown limited recent activity at this level and trails in current form indicators. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup hinges on Cho’s sharper hard-court results this week versus Tanuma’s experience in Asian ITF events. Trader consensus reflects these situational edges in implied probabilities for the outcome.
