Nadia Brunzlow, a former top college player at SCAD Atlanta with a Polish background and limited recent professional ITF experience, faces 18-year-old Brazilian Helena Bueno in the opening rounds of the W35 Southaven hard-court event starting August 3. Bueno enters with more current ITF activity, including matches in recent W35 events in Brazil, while Brunzlow’s profile centers on collegiate results and post-college transition. The hard-court surface and early-tournament timing favor players with recent match play and physical readiness. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either, though draw positions and potential qualifiers could influence early-round dynamics in this lower-tier professional event.
