Pablo Aunion enters the ITF M25 Oviedo clay-court match as the clear favorite against Ivan Lopez Martos due to his superior recent form and ranking edge in the Spanish M25 circuit. The 19-year-old Aunion, competing regularly at this level with an ITF career-high near 211, posted a win in the M25 Santander event just days prior while Lopez Martos, a 22-year-old Spaniard ranked well outside the top 4000, has struggled in qualifying and early rounds of comparable tournaments. Both players share home-country familiarity with red clay, yet Aunion’s greater match volume and higher baseline consistency create a significant barrier for an upset in this round-of-32 encounter. No notable injuries or withdrawals have altered the draw, and the surface should favor the steadier ball-striker. Trader consensus reflects this disparity, pricing Aunion well above even money.
