Kenta Miyoshi enters the ATP Challenger Istanbul 2 hard-court matchup against Mert Alkaya with strong recent momentum on the surface, including straight-set wins in the Turkish swing that have lifted his ranking into the low 500s. The 22-year-old right-hander, coming off a solid college career, has posted an 8-2 mark over his last 10 matches and shows improved return pressure and break-point conversion. Alkaya, the higher-ranked Turkish player at approximately No. 299 with a career-high near 298, benefits from home-soil familiarity and greater professional experience at age 26, though his results have been inconsistent outside local events. The implied probabilities sit nearly even, reflecting comparable overall form, limited head-to-head history, and the small margins typical of early-round challenger tennis where surface conditions and serving consistency often decide outcomes.
