Soon-Woo Kwon enters the Quebec City Challenger qualifying draw as the clear favorite against Andrea Guerrieri on hard courts, backed by his superior ranking near 152 and a strong 2026 record that includes three Challenger titles plus a Wimbledon main-draw appearance after completing military service. Kwon has posted a 32-9 win-loss mark this season with consistent results on the surface, while the Italian Guerrieri, at a career-high 189, remains less experienced at this level despite recent ranking gains. Limited prior head-to-head history and Kwon's recent match play give the higher-ranked player the edge in form and depth, though qualifying matches can hinge on serving efficiency and early-set momentum on indoor hard.
