Krajicek and Mektic enter the Cincinnati Open doubles draw with strong doubles credentials, including Mektic’s prior title at the event and consistent ATP-level results on hard courts. The pairing recently defeated a Nakashima team in Washington and maintains solid recent form heading into the Masters 1000. Cash and Nakashima, a newer combination featuring Nakashima’s elite singles athleticism and serving alongside Cash’s doubles background, face a test of cohesion against more established teams. Surface conditions and early-round matchups emphasize experience, with limited head-to-head data between the pairs leaving room for momentum shifts based on serving efficiency and net play.
