Latest NOAA and National Weather Service forecast models position 88–91°F as the most likely high for Miami on September 18, reflecting a dominant subtropical ridge with light easterly flow, modest moisture, and limited cloud cover that favors typical late-summer afternoon heating. Ensemble guidance shows minimal spread, with only slight upward revisions possible if daytime instability increases. Historical September climatology for the area centers near 88–90°F, providing a stable baseline against which current model consensus aligns closely. Updated short-range runs and morning soundings remain the key near-term catalysts that could shift implied probabilities before the daily maximum is recorded.
