George Condo’s market has shown resilience amid gallery transitions and strong institutional visibility, with his 2025–2026 retrospective at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris highlighting his psychological cubism and drawing renewed collector interest. Recent auction results reflect uneven performance: major canvases above two square meters often exceed estimates by wide margins, while smaller works and works on paper post median hammer prices near $225,000–$360,000 and sell-through rates of 74–79 percent in 2025. Gallery shifts—Cond o’s brief move to Sprüth Magers and Skarstedt in late 2025 followed by his July 2026 return to Hauser & Wirth for 2027 exhibitions—have kept supply dynamics in focus, alongside consistent six- and seven-figure private sales at recent fairs. Traders monitoring “I Want My Brain Back” will watch upcoming fall auctions for comparable results and any fresh critical or secondary-market momentum.
