Arsenal and Manchester City sit neck-and-neck near 42% and 41% implied probability to finish as 2026-27 Premier League runner-up because both clubs enter the campaign with fresh managerial influences—Arsenal retain Mikel Arteta after lifting the prior title, while City adapt to Enzo Maresca—creating uncertainty over squad cohesion following the 2026 World Cup break. Liverpool under Andoni Iraola and a resurgent Manchester United add pressure through recent recruitment and historical depth, keeping the top challengers tightly bunched. Lower-priced sides such as Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham reflect solid recent form and squad investment but trail due to greater inconsistency against the elite. Trader consensus highlights how minor pre-season shifts in fitness, transfers, or early results could quickly reorder these probabilities in a league defined by narrow margins.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
