Dominic Stricker enters the second round of the Sion Challenger as the clear market favorite against Lucio Ratti, reflecting his superior ATP ranking (around 336 vs. Ratti’s 389), career-high pedigree near the top 100, and status as a left-handed Swiss player competing on home soil. Stricker advanced comfortably in the opening round with a straight-sets win over Raphael Perot, demonstrating solid recent form on the Challenger circuit. Ratti, a 22-year-old right-hander from Argentina with a career high of 364, brings limited main-tour experience and faces a significant stylistic and experience gap in his first meeting against Stricker. The Center Court scheduling and local support further tilt implied probabilities toward the Swiss player, though Ratti’s youth leaves room for competitive sets if he capitalizes on any early unforced errors.
