Garrett Johns holds a clear ranking edge over Guillaume Dalmasso entering their Kingston Challenger first-round match on outdoor hard courts, with Johns positioned around the top 300-400 on the ATP ladder compared to Dalmasso’s placement near 550-600. The American, a former Duke standout with deeper Challenger and ATP-level experience, faces the French player in what appears to be their first meeting. Recent results for both remain limited in public records ahead of the August 16 encounter, though Johns’ higher career prize money and consistent professional schedule point to greater match toughness. Surface familiarity in the Caribbean swing and any late adjustments to the draw or player fitness could still influence the outcome in this lower-tier professional event.
