Judd Trump, the current world number one and recent Shanghai Masters winner, sits close behind amid his consistent ranking-event form. Ronnie O'Sullivan's experience and proven big-event pedigree keep him in contention, while strong showings from Wu Yize and home-crowd support for several Chinese players add depth. With the event opening in Taiyuan and no single player dominating recent head-to-head or ranking data, trader pricing reflects a genuinely open field where momentum shifts and early-round matchups can quickly alter implied probabilities.
