This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Yordan Alvarez dominates the AL Comeback Player of the Year market at 81% implied probability due to his exceptional 2026 campaign with the Houston Astros, where he leads the league in batting average around .321, home runs near 36, and RBIs at 88 while posting a 1.058 OPS, building on recovery from notable 2025 injuries. This positions him as the consensus leader ahead of the AL MVP and Triple Crown races. Lower-priced options like Zack Gelof, Anthony Santander, Anthony Volpe, and Gerrit Cole each sit near 4-5%, reflecting limited voter momentum for their respective returns or statistical rebounds compared to Alvarez's sustained production. Recent AL Player of the Month recognition and ongoing statistical leadership have further solidified trader consensus around the Astros slugger.
