The early stages of the 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura show defensive parity across multiple clubs, keeping implied probabilities tightly bunched for the season-long clean sheets leader. Toluca, Club América, Guadalajara, Pachuca, and UNAM Pumas have posted comparable shutout tallies through the opening matchdays, supported by organized back lines, low goals conceded per game, and reliable goalkeepers including Keylor Navas at Pumas and established starters at the other contenders. Limited roster turnover, balanced schedules, and the absence of any dominant defensive outlier after roughly seven rounds sustain this competitive dynamic, with historical consistency and home/away splits further leveling expectations among the group.
