Barcelona enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as two-time defending champions and early title favorites, with strong squad depth and recent European pedigree positioning them well for Champions League qualification via a top-four finish. Real Madrid's appointment of Jose Mourinho aims to close the gap after trophyless seasons, while Atlético Madrid remains competitive amid forward-line adjustments following departures like Lewandowski. The season opener highlighted early points for sides such as Alavés, Espanyol, and Sevilla, though the traditional powerhouses hold superior resources and historical consistency for sustained league positioning. Spain's UEFA coefficient could secure four or five spots, making head-to-head results, injury management, and mid-season form decisive over the 38-match schedule that runs through May 2027.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 LaLiga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
