Rockstar Games announced on August 6 that an “Extended Look” at Grand Theft Auto VI will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 27 at 3 p.m. ET, with the same footage dropping on its YouTube channel six hours later, just three months before the game’s November 19 launch. The “extended” framing and Netflix placement point to a longer-form presentation—likely including substantial gameplay footage—rather than a standard 1–3 minute cinematic trailer like the previous two GTA VI reveals. Unverified reports from Netflix support chats suggest a roughly 20-minute runtime, aligning with trader expectations that have pushed the 5+ minute outcome to 95% implied probability on Polymarket. The August 27 premiere remains the sole near-term catalyst that will lock in the exact duration and resolve the market.
