Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, faces attempted first-degree murder and related firearm charges stemming from a May 13, 2026, shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee, during a physical altercation. Court records show the case remains in pre-trial proceedings, with Eatherly released on bond in August 2026 after multiple hearings on bail amounts and conditions tied to prior misdemeanor charges. No trial date has concluded, and no verdict or conviction has been entered as of mid-September 2026. Recent coverage of Eatherly’s social media activity and unrelated disputes confirms the criminal matter stays unresolved, aligning with trader consensus that conviction is unlikely in the near term absent further judicial developments.
