Mili Poljicak and Max Schoenhaus meet in the first round of the Augsburg Challenger on outdoor clay, a surface where both have compiled solid recent records. The Croatian, ranked near 260, brings slightly more main-tour experience and a career-high singles mark of 257, while the 19-year-old German home player sits around 318 after climbing to a personal best of 310 in July. They have no prior head-to-head meetings. Recent form shows both competitors winning roughly two-thirds of matches over the past year, with outcomes often decided by serve efficiency and break-point conversion on slower courts. Home-crowd support and familiarity with German clay conditions represent the main situational edges for Schoenhaus in what trader pricing reflects as a near-even matchup.
