Jelle Sels enters the Porto 2 Challenger qualifying matchup as the clear favorite, reflecting his superior ATP ranking near 500 and stronger 2026 win rate compared to David Poljak’s position outside the top 1000. Both players compete regularly on indoor hard courts, where Sels maintains a slight edge in recent head-to-head history and overall consistency across surfaces. Poljak’s mixed results this season include qualifier successes but frequent early exits, while Sels has shown steadier form in ITF and Challenger events despite a heavy clay schedule earlier in the summer. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals alter the draw, so the implied probability favors Sels advancing on superior ranking, experience at this level, and recent match sharpness.
