The 2026-27 Swiss Super League campaign opens with exceptional parity across the 12-team field, leaving no clear defensive frontrunner for the most clean sheets. Every side enters with comparable squad depth in central defense and goalkeeping, similar pre-season results, and no standout historical edge in shutout tallies over recent seasons. Mid-table clubs such as FC Basel, Servette FC, and BSC Young Boys share the same implied probability as promoted or rebuilding sides because early fixture difficulty, travel demands, and potential for set-piece vulnerabilities balance out. Without major injuries or tactical overhauls confirmed yet, trader consensus reflects broad uncertainty over which back line will post the highest number of zero-goal games across the full schedule.
