Both the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets enter the 2026 NFL season with comparable roster uncertainty and modest projections, keeping the two-game AFC East series outcome evenly balanced in trader consensus. Miami’s young core faces questions at quarterback and along the lines after recent drafts prioritized long-term development over immediate impact, while New York’s roster similarly lacks proven separation in talent or recent form. With each club projected for a low-to-middling win total, neither holds a clear edge in head-to-head matchups, and historical splits in the rivalry reinforce the likelihood of one win apiece. Preseason roster battles, training-camp injuries, and scheme adjustments under new or interim coaching elements could still tilt either contest, sustaining the tight three-way pricing ahead of the regular-season schedule.
