The three newly promoted sides—Coventry City, Hull City, and Ipswich Town—dominate trader attention for the 2026-27 Premier League last-place outcome due to the well-documented challenges facing Championship winners adapting to top-flight physicality, squad depth, and fixture congestion. Early results have sharpened distinctions: Hull’s unbeaten start and defensive organization contrast with Coventry’s winless run and heavy defeats, while Ipswich sits in between. Established clubs carry minimal implied probability because their resources and experience create wide gaps from the bottom. The bunched pricing among the promoted trio reflects uncertainty over which side will suffer the steepest regression once the schedule intensifies, with historical patterns showing at least two of every three promoted teams typically battling relegation.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
