The closely matched probabilities across dozens of candidates for the next mayor of Ústí nad Labem reflect a fragmented field ahead of the October 9–10, 2026 communal elections, where voters select the 37-member city council that subsequently elects the mayor rather than choosing the office directly. Incumbent Petr Nedvědický (ANO) is stepping down, prompting ANO to back Tomáš Hrubý, while opposition coalitions such as Jedno Ústí have coalesced around Tomáš Vohryzka and other parties have advanced figures including Michal Mohr (SPD), Radim Bzura (ODS-KDU-ČSL), Yveta Tomková, and Richard Matiašek. Recent campaign activity has centered on local priorities like housing, public services, and coalition realignments, with limited specific polling leaving trader consensus reflecting broad uncertainty over which alliances will secure a council majority. Further separation could emerge from late summer or early autumn polling on party lists, coalition announcements, candidate debates, or shifts in turnout among key local blocs.
