The 2026 Big Ten rushing yards race sits in a dead heat across dozens of candidates because multiple programs enter the season with proven or high-upside backs backed by strong offensive lines and run-oriented schemes. Returning standouts such as Ohio State’s Bo Jackson (1,000-yard freshman campaign), Michigan’s Jordan Marshall (932 yards in 2025), Rutgers’ Antwan Raymond (1,241 yards), and Minnesota’s Darius Taylor anchor the group, while transfers like Cam Edwards and Oregon’s Jordon Davison add depth. Freshmen and depth additions, including Michigan’s Savion Hiter, further dilute any single frontrunner. With the regular season just underway, early workloads, injury resilience, and conference schedule strength will determine separation, leaving trader consensus evenly distributed until meaningful statistical separation emerges.
