Fleetwood leads trader consensus in the 2026 FedEx Cup Playoffs winner market after claiming the 2025 TOUR Championship title and posting multiple top-five results early in the new season, including strong showings at the Truist Championship, Memorial Tournament, and RBC Canadian Open, where his elite strokes-gained: around-the-green metrics stand out. Scheffler tops the current FedExCup points standings with consistent scoring but trails in implied probability amid a deep field that rewards playoff momentum and late-season surges. Cameron Young sits second in points after multiple victories, while McIlroy and others like Fitzpatrick benefit from major-championship pedigree and historical playoff success. The structure of the three-event playoff series—with its reset and emphasis on recent form—creates a wide distribution, as top-30 qualifiers can separate through signature-event consistency, course fit at East Lake, and avoidance of missed cuts in high-points weeks.
