Paris Saint-Germain enters the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as clear frontrunners after securing multiple consecutive titles, with summer reinforcements including Ferran Torres and others aimed at maintaining domestic supremacy and European competitiveness. Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, and Nice have bolstered squads through the transfer window to close the gap, while promoted sides like Troyes and Le Mans add depth to the table. Ligue 1 typically awards three direct UEFA Champions League group-stage berths plus a potential play-off spot for fourth place, depending on association coefficients. Key variables include early-season form, injury management, head-to-head results among top clubs, and any mid-season coaching shifts, with the campaign opening on August 21. Trader consensus reflects PSG’s historical edge alongside realistic contention from established challengers in a tightly contested race.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Ligue 1 standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled or postponed past June 12, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
