Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors' Championship by a wide margin after the early races, posting 244 points to Ferrari’s 165 and McLaren’s 118 under the season’s new power-unit and active-aerodynamics regulations. The Silver Arrows secured front-row locks and race wins from the Australian opener onward, benefiting from strong reliability and consistent scoring by Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Ferrari remains the nearest rival with solid podiums but trails significantly, while McLaren has yet to match its prior dominance. Trader consensus at 87.5% for Mercedes reflects this established performance gap; only substantial late-season reliability setbacks or breakthrough developments from Ferrari or McLaren could realistically narrow the contest.
