Anna Leigh Waters, the top seed and dominant PPA Tour player with an extended winning streak, anchors trader expectations for reaching the Veolia Arizona Open women’s singles final in Mesa. Recent draw releases and early-round results highlight her favorable path, including straight-sets wins, while several top doubles specialists skip the event, thinning the field. In the opposite half, Kate Fahey, Kaitlyn Christian, and Brooke Buckner advanced to the semifinals after navigating quarterfinal matchups against players like Lea Jansen and Parris Todd. Head-to-head history favors Waters heavily against Fahey, though the bottom-half bracket features multiple solid challengers capable of an upset. Schedule positioning and rest advantages into the weekend rounds further shape implied probabilities for the two finalists.
