This market will resolve according to the official UFC Lightweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Justin Gaethje holds the UFC lightweight title after his fourth-round TKO victory over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250 in June 2026, marking his first reign as undisputed champion with zero defenses to date. Trader consensus heavily favors him at 84% through year-end because he has no title bout scheduled for the remainder of 2026, positioning him to retain the belt absent any intervening events. Topuria’s recent loss and subsequent orbital injury explain his reduced 3.3% implied probability, while Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy sit at 8.8% and 5.6% respectively on the strength of recent wins and divisional rankings. Limited activity from other contenders, including Charles Oliveira and Paddy Pimblett, further reinforces the current market distribution based on confirmed roster status and fight scheduling.
