Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors' Championship by a wide margin after multiple race wins and consistent podium finishes for its driver pairing, capitalizing on superior pace and energy management under the new technical regulations. This performance has created a substantial points gap over Ferrari and McLaren, shaping the current implied probabilities. Rivals have yet to close the development deficit despite ongoing upgrades. While Mercedes maintains the advantage, factors such as potential reliability setbacks, strategic errors, or accelerated rival progress in the second half of the season could narrow the margin before the finale.
