The 2026 NFL season's running back landscape remains highly uncertain heading into training camp, with a broad group of backs clustered near even odds reflecting widespread questions about workload distribution, backfield committees, and offensive line health across multiple teams. Factors such as projected carry volume, receiving work in passing schemes, goal-line opportunities, and injury recovery timelines for veterans like Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry create a level playing field, while younger or committee backs including Rhamondre Stevenson, Tank Bigsby, and Travis Etienne Jr. benefit from similar path-to-volume narratives. Recent camp developments, including depth-chart battles and scheme emphases under new coordinators, have yet to produce clear separation, keeping implied probabilities tightly bunched as traders weigh comparable historical benchmarks for high-volume seasons. This competitive parity underscores how late roster moves or early-season injuries could rapidly shift the leader trajectory.

If two or more players are tied for the most total PPR fantasy points, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player that has a higher fantasy points per game average for the 2026 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official season-total statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
