Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga campaign as defending champions and clear frontrunners for another top-four finish that secures 2027-28 Champions League qualification, with the league season opening August 28. Strong challengers include Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, and VfB Stuttgart, all of whom posted recent European form and have strengthened squads through summer transfers. Dortmund’s acquisition of Giannis Konstantelias adds midfield depth ahead of the DFB-Pokal and Supercup fixtures that open the schedule. League position after 34 matchdays determines the four automatic berths, with possible expansion depending on Germany’s UEFA coefficient; pre-season results, injury management, and early form will shape trader views on which sides consolidate European spots versus mid-table clubs pushing for surprises.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Bundesliga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Bundesliga season is cancelled or postponed past June 6, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
