Tom Gentzsch and Jerome Kym contest the final of the 2026 Hagen Challenger on red clay. Gentzsch advanced with a straight-sets semifinal victory over Zsombor Piros, extending a strong run through the draw at his home event in Germany. Kym reached the title match after a 6-1, 7-6(4) semifinal win. The pair split their prior two meetings, with Gentzsch taking the most recent encounter 6-2, 6-3 in French Open qualifying earlier in 2026. Both players enter with recent momentum on the surface, though Gentzsch benefits from local support and familiarity with the conditions in what shapes up as a closely matched final between two rising Challenger-level competitors.
