The tightly bunched probabilities around 49-50% for dozens of Big 12 wide receivers and tight ends reflect a wide-open 2026 receiving touchdowns race with no clear preseason favorite. Multiple teams feature returning or transferred producers such as Amare Thomas at Houston, Omarion Miller at Arizona State, Wyatt Young at Oklahoma State, Danny Scudero at Colorado, and Jordan Dwyer at TCU, each backed by strong 2025 receiving lines and new or returning quarterback situations. Preseason all-conference honors and transfer portal activity have spread talent across the league, while offensive scheme changes, red-zone usage, and early-season injury or depth chart developments continue to keep implied probabilities compressed. Trader consensus views the outcome as highly dependent on which offenses sustain consistent scoring volume through a competitive conference schedule.
