The early stage of the 2026 Liga MX Apertura keeps the top goalscorer market tightly contested, with Salomón Rondón leading on eight goals for Pachuca while a cluster of forwards including Lucas Ocampos, several Chivas attackers, Juninho, and others sit on four or five. Recent matchdays have produced distributed scoring across sides, with no single player pulling away decisively amid balanced fixtures and squad rotations. Player form, minutes, and team attacking output remain fluid this deep into the regular phase, allowing multiple candidates realistic paths to the Golden Boot. Trader consensus reflects this parity and the extended schedule ahead, where consistency and schedule strength will determine separation among the frontrunners.

Only goals scored in Liga MX Apertura matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market.
If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026 Liga MX Apertura season is canceled or not completed by December 27, 2026, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
